This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Prompt Studio, presented by Smart Prompts For AI ("we," "us," "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our service at smartpromptstudio.com ("the Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information. When you sign up, we collect your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.

Content you provide. We collect the problem descriptions you enter, the prompts generated for you, your saved Library items, and your generation history.

Payment information. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. We retain records of your plan, purchases, and billing status.

Usage data. We collect basic technical data such as credit usage, log data, and device/browser information needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How We Use Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Service, manage your account and credits, process payments, send transactional emails (such as account confirmation, password resets, and purchase receipts), respond to support requests, and prevent fraud or abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

3. AI Processing

When you generate or refine a prompt, the text you enter is sent to Google's Gemini API for processing. Your inputs are subject to Google's API data handling practices. Do not include sensitive personal information (such as health, financial, or government ID data) in your prompt descriptions.

4. Service Providers

We share data with the following providers solely to operate the Service:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting
• Stripe — payment processing
• Google — sign-in (OAuth) and AI processing (Gemini API)
• Vercel — application hosting
• Resend — transactional email delivery

Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy and only as needed to provide its service to us.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data, saved prompts, and history for as long as your account exists. If you delete your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting purposes (such as payment records).

6. Your Rights

You may access, update, or delete your data at any time. You can delete saved prompts from your Library directly, or contact us to request a copy of your data or full account deletion. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA or GDPR; we honor valid requests regardless of location.

7. Cookies

We use cookies strictly for authentication and session management — keeping you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our hosting providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or email, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the current version.
